There isn’t any other memorial place for love like the Bory castle in Székesfehérvár, which is an unique work, the biggest building, what a single man built with his own two hands. Jenő Bory built this castle for over 40 years.

The castle was built without plans, year by year it developed, expanded. Bory was the designer architect, the site manager, the pond paller, the mason. With some simple worker he built, extended, decorated and improved this wonderful work of art from 1923 until he died in 1959. From the castle’s casemate to it’s gazebo the height is 30 metres. seven towers, 30 rooms three of them are ateliers, lot of statues, pictures, antiques, artifacts. The two centres of the castle: The chapel of conjugal love and the studio, they represent Jenő Bory life’s 2 fundamental point. In the building there are more than a hundred statues, they were made by different types of technics. The walls are covered by paintings. In the places outdoor and indoor in the most unexpected places there are mosaics, stained glasses, fountains.

From march till november it is open every day from 9:00-17:00.
