The most muggy place of the Turkish occupation was maybe the Turkish Bath in Fehérvár. It ruins have still suggested that vibrant life which was led by the Turkish living in a town with Christian roots.
They built separate units for the men and women with floor- heated rooms, chat rooms, private bath cabins for the rich. It is the popular relaxing place of the inhabitants of Fehérvár where if we use our imagination we can see the Turkish women and men chatting, smoking pipes and having social life. Nowadays, an ornamental wrought-iron gate and a sign remind us of the former important social place.
