Probably, the Hungarian were impressed by the world of the Turkish baths, which were exciting both architecturally and socially. In 1905, 31st December, the Art Nouveau Árpád Bath’s most spectacular part- the mosaic covered pool and the whirpool bath- were opened.
The bath was renovated in its original splendour, its carved row of dressing cabins, mosaic rooms, ornamental tiling and stucco work bring us back to the elegant world of the beginning of the 20th century.
